Direct answers to common Pokemon TCG sealed product, price, pull-rate, rarity, set, and Pokecompare data questions.

Common questions

What is Pokecompare?

Pokecompare is a Pokemon TCG sealed product price comparison site. It tracks current vendor offers, price per booster, vendor count, product type, set pages, and pull-rate context for collectors and pack openers.

What is price per booster?

Price per booster is the product price divided by the number of booster packs inside. It helps compare products such as booster boxes, booster bundles, Elite Trainer Boxes, tins, blisters, and single packs on the same pack-cost basis.

Is the cheapest Pokemon product always the best value?

No. The cheapest product can have the lowest upfront price while still being expensive per pack. Compare the product against other current offers from the same set, then check price per booster and vendor count.

Why does vendor count matter?

Vendor count shows how many current vendor offers support a product price after deduplication. A low price with several vendors is easier to trust than a low price from one listing that may sell out quickly.

Are Pokemon pull rates guaranteed?

No. Pull rates are estimates across many packs. They can help compare sets and opening expectations, but they do not predict one pack, one Elite Trainer Box, or one booster box.

Should I compare Pokemon sealed products by set or product type?

Use set pages when the expansion matters most. Use product type pages when the format matters most, such as booster boxes, booster bundles, ETBs, tins, or packs across many sets.

Is an Elite Trainer Box better than a booster bundle?

An Elite Trainer Box is better when you value the box, accessories, promo, or display appeal. A booster bundle is usually cleaner for pack math because it focuses on booster packs without ETB extras.

How often does Pokecompare update product data?

Pokecompare pages revalidate regularly and current offer data uses recent available vendor listings. The page header shows the latest product update timestamp when data is available.
